Fail to Produce Insurance Card

While operating a motor vehicle on a highway you have to have in your motor vehicle at all times, an insurance card for the motor vehicle or an insurance card showing that you are insured under a contract of automobile insurance and you must surrender the insurance card for reasonable inspection upon the demand of a police officer.  If not, you are liable to a fine up to $400.00.
